Dr Tarr is not aiming to supplant vascular surgeons. He wants to complement your service and help your practice run better. He has personally performed many complex aortic cases, including EVAR, FEVAR and iliac work, alongside extensive infrapopliteal (below-the-knee) experience, deep venous arterialisation (DVA) and endoleak management.

He speaks the vascular surgical language, reports vascular diagnostic imaging, and understands the operations you perform, so working together is straightforward. He also has particular depth in venous and arteriovenous malformation, having trained extensively with Dr Gerald Legiehn (FIRVA) in Vancouver. Refer for an adjunctive endovascular opinion, shared management of complex aortic, access or limb-salvage cases, or vascular diagnostic reporting.

How to refer

Sending a referral

Electronic referrals are received via Medical-Objects, address to Tarr Radiology (Dr Gregory Tarr). Referrals can also be faxed or emailed to reception.

For the Medicare rebate on your patient's consultation and treatment, a referral must be signed and dated and include the patient's details and your provider number. A standard GP referral lasts 12 months; specialist referrals, 3 months.
